Echo staff crack code of banned dog-dealers (Liverpool, England, UK)

Echo staff crack code of banned dog-dealers
By HoldtheFrontPage staff

A code used by underworld dog dealers to sell banned breeds like pit bulls in local newspapers has been cracked by the Liverpool Echo.

Code names and terms are used by unscrupulous dealers who sell fighting dogs through newspaper pets for sale columns - disguised as legitimate breeds.

Breeds banned in the UK by the Home Office include pit bulls, dogo Argentino, fila Brasiliero and Japanese tosa - but dealers use code names such as "Irish Stafford" and "American Stafford" to sneak them into classified advertising columns.

The reason why they will ban the term 'Irish Staff' is simply because the Irish Staff is very similar to the abpt of yesteryear. Many people (incl myself) use this loophole when stopped by the authorities. Or i say staffy cross. They`re are not many Irish staffies available, of course they are about, but Pits are still more common.

Ignorant people will carry to teach ignorance to other uneducated people.

The thing is geezer, if you know the game, 9/10 times you won`t get your Pit taken away. You have to play the game.
