Enough protein?

Does doctor b or big dog barf, have enough protein for a pit/bully, it's only 16% but was thinking of switching, probably after my boy becomes an adult dog, because the feeding suggestions for puppy vs adult is basically double, which would be very expensive, I don't always have fridge going, as I am off grid currently not fully finished, so making it all myself may not be feasible to keep the I gredients or deep freeze stuff

If it's a true BARF diet it will be meat, bone, organ, and some companies add herbs and veg. In which case it is balanced. If you don't have a fridge or freezer, feeding raw isn't doable.

Thank you, yeah I have fridge but runs off a generator when using power tools etc for building house and off in the cool of the night. So I just have a schedule on storing my own food haha. It says it's true barf, I was just concerned adult pits and bullies require more protein then other breeds based on exercise on muscle mass of them. Coming from a Maltese shitzhu background haha

Every dog within every breed is different. There is no true amount to feed a specific breed. You may want to just go with a good quality kibble until the house is finished, then revisit the raw idea. While they can eat meat that's gone bad, it can't be an every day thing and the bacteria level in ground meat is higher then PMR.

Yeah I would never let him have it, probably a good Idea, but then I would make my own raw food.. If I could have a deep freezer of something with supplies, but the garage is under a thick concrete slab where the fridge currently is, 16 x 18 meter 600mm rammed earth garage so never gets warm And the barf comes in packs of 12 patties. Enough for maybe 3 days according to the feeding chart of an adult.

Sorry I don't use inches miles gallons or pound where I'm from haha
