You might try going on a jog in the heat, take your very sweaty shirt and get it went in the sink so its saturated then wring it out into a spray bottle. You now have you "scent in a bottle". For S&R this is great. Really depends on what you want your dog to search for of course but a good method that can be applied to multiple surfaces and withhold its scent.
