Does the concept of choker chains work? That when the dog pulls on the leash itll constrict their throats and through that training they'll learn to not pull on the leash?

I know its old school but has anyone had success with it? I've read some old keeps that had it but used a walking harness. Has anyone done this?What harness did you use? Did you like it? I was thinking of doing it but using a conditioning harness instead of a walking harness.
