110 Pit Bulls Seized During RaidsPosted: 6:09 am EST November 24, 2010
ALBANY, Ga. -- More than 100 pit bulls have been seized in two dog fighting raids in Berrien and Cook counties. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and several local agencies took more than 90 dogs from the Berrien County site Tuesday. They raided a site in Cook County hours later and seized 20 dogs. Authorities say many of the dogs had scarring that is consistent with dog fighting. The animals will be turned over to the Atlanta Humane Society.

This is all the info they had on the case but I figured I'd post and update when there is more information. That is a lot of dogs seized and I hope they give each one a fair chance or some organization comes in to help like they did with the Vick case. I'll update when I find more information.

I hope someone helps those dogs and they are givin a chance , funny how alot of organizations wated to help vicks dogs who were in the media constantly , would love for the same ones to come forward for these ones, doubtful though.

Maybe because he was a celebrity? Maybe because he was fighting pets? After all, the last raid that was compared to Vick said that they had a completely different "type" of dog that were not salvageable.... My vote is that the idiot didn't have the right kind of dogs for the sport in the first place... (end of rant on vick)

lol i think i need sarcastic font like lauren has said lol , i know why all those groups wanted to help vicks dogs and yes it was cause he was a celebrity and the media attention there group would get , just sayin would be nice if they helped all the other groups of dogs who are raided from dog rings and try to save them as well ......
there was a guy who wanted vicks dog put to sleep from what i hear he was behind having that last group PTS hopefully he doesnt have a say in this one :S
