B has retained canines which I will have both extracted on thursday

some questions while I google search:

1. Are retained canines loose?
2. What causes retained canines?
3. is this a genetic fault or something that sometimes pops up?
4. How common are Retained canines in larger breeds?

pretty much anything known post it. I am curious now about it.

My boy Bullet had his permanent canine grow in behind his baby tooth. The baby tooth was still in there pretty good when I noticed it, so I just started wiggling on it as much as he would tolerate every day and it eventually fell out on its own. Mostly because I didn't want to pay a vet to remove it unless I had to, since there is only 1 vet on this little island I live on, and they charge up the a** for everything because they know they can. Have you tried wiggling your dog's teeth at all?

Yes, I have been working and wiggling them for the past 3 days and nothing. his vet told me to see if they will come out on their own and they haven't so I donot want to put it off so I already have the app for tomorrow. it is just easier to get it done and over with rather then wait.
