Well in 11 years I have yet to have a PITBULL harm my kids or nieces and nephews sooo I think I will keep mine

Francis has the same temperament of my pitbulls. What causes these issues in small dogs is owners letting there dogs do whatever they want becasue they are small. My Chihuahua is crate trained and raised witht eh same manners I would expect from my pitbulls. She IS NOT one of those yippy snappy dogs. She is completely human friendly.
The dogs you have to worry about are the ones that have not been properly raised and socialized, and it the owners that sit there and leave their children unattended with ANIMALS.
Dog attacks are an OWNER problem not a breed problem.
