:welcome: Our National Guard troop Able. Company (Red Bull) came home today :woof: . This troop was over in Iraq for 22 monthes. What a fantastic day it was. They were escorted home by the State troopers up to the Beltrami line where the city police:cop: took over. The streets were packed the hiway lined with cars. The FLAG flying all over town. Yes our boys are home  . It was cool every mile along the hiway were signs welcoming them back. I took Mikado he wore his american flag bandana. He was really good old people and children were petting him.It was so hot that he laid on the road in the shade watching the bus go by.

No I remebered that we didn't take the camera when we were only five blocks from home but we decided that we really didn;t need it.:stick: this me hitting me. I wish I did take the camera. Oh how could I have forgotten to mention the 150-200 motorcycles bringing the boys home these are mostly Vietnam Vets. OMG Judy it so awsome it made your heart just burst with pride.

That's an AWESOME and emotionally inspiring story. No matter your views on the war or Bush's policies it's great to see Americans supporting other Americans. Citizen Soldiers who sacrifice everything for their fellow American. I hope everybody made it back safe and can now be safe at home taking care of their families. It's almost ironic the VietVets are now able to give so much after they got No support when they returned 40 years ago. Keep supporting the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airman and especially the Citizen Soldiers in the Guard and Reserve. They fight so you don't have to.

I wouldn't say that to a soldier! Alot of them simply feel that if they don't finish what they started that they lost the lives of their friends and family for absolutely nothing... there's alot more to it than what most people think... my counsin talked candidly with me about it over there. He has to go through therapy after everytime he comes back. it's still VERY ugly over there and soldiers that get to leave the base to patrol have serious convictions about the place... he told me that 70% of the people sent over there never leave the base anyway and they're the ones who say "i want to come home"... told me about how there are men in platoons that should NEVER even look at a gun let alone carry one because he feels as though they don't have their shit straight. and WE the people set the rules by which they fight so he told me that if we let them go in and do what they do the way it needs to be done all of the force could be home and we could just be helping them set up the government now. ill stop before i say too much.

On friday 6 more of our boys came home they were part of the Able Company but because another company lost 6 men these boys were sent over to that company so these boys were over there for 22 monthes also. It was harder to greet these guys coming home because they came home on friday at 4 p.m. most people were still at work. They still had cop cars and motorcycles but not that many people standing waiting for them. I was working but my sister and my son went and saw them.
