Ok,so Bruno has taken to barking at strangers now. I know it's from excitement,cause he's doing that bounce bark thing( I think he got it from Beia) He saw Beia do it once,and got attention and he started doing it too.
He's atm growling and whining in his crate. He NEVER does this,but he has started this sh** lately,and has been more vocal too(even barks at me).
He's even taken to tossing his food dish. He will dump the food out,then toss the dish to the back of his kennel.

Any ideas....Think he just needs to get out more? I dunno but he is driving me nuts. How can I train him out of this. He gets walks everyday,but I dunno what else to do to keep his mind stimulated

How many walks a day does he get and how long are they? Honestly, walks don't do much for exercising a lot of dog breeds and they don't do jack for our guys because they're so athletic. Unless you're walking him ~4-6 miles a day, my guess is that he's under-exercised and under-stimulated.

One thing you can do to help is up the amount of exercise he does, especially if there's any way you could have him off-leash in a safe area to run around.

Another thing is to up his mental stimulation. What tricks/commands does he know? Work on those and maybe work on teaching him a completely new trick once or twice a week.

Sounds like bad habbits from cabin fever...run em then run em some more! A tired dog doesnt have the energy to bark haha.

I also agree with more mental stimulation.

Dogs are like school children...keep them interested in class and they will participate and be angels...slack off on them and load em up with sugar and they dont know what to do with all the energy other then being destructive.

Thanks you two. I had a feeling,this is what he was needing. I'll get to it. Unfortunately,with this cold weather,he hasn't been out as much as he use to.
Usually he goes on the trail and such. I think the walk for pits event this sat will do him some good.
I'll just have to bundle up,and buy some gloves,so we can go on longer walks.

If you can manage another person monkey in the middle is a quick energy burner if ya keep the pace up...I use to do it with my brother as kid when we had to "run" the dogs as a child.

Then aftrerwards we would train commands and obedience in the barn out of the cold haha.

I took them on a nice long walk today,and my friend called and asked if I wanted to go with her,and take all 3 of the dogs out someplace to run,and to help her with Kush.
He has behavior training he is working on. Stuff the behaviorist said to use on him. So that will get them out today at least.

yea sounds like he's bored and frusturated maybe and needs to be out more. As far as the cold weather I understand you but as of right now it's 80 degrees in sunny CAlifornia lol so I'm taking advantage of it and taking my dogs out way more. : D

He is just doing it top make noise and get a reaction out of I do not think it is from not being walk enough. I think you spend a fair amount of time with your dogs plus he has a playmate. My dogs get barky from time to time and the best thing is a spray bottle. Get a big spray bottle with a good 6-8 foot reach on a direct stream. I got my bottles from the dollar store in the garden section. use 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water and every time he barks say "quiet" or some other word to mean shut up. Later on you can just say quiet and he should stop but for now spray him and aim for his mouth. It will get in his eye, nose and mouth but it is safe and most dogs only have to get it a few times before they get the idea. it works wonders on most dogs and if you have to you can increase the amount of vinegar till you find the right mix.
