I've been working on the same thing with my dog. She just LOVES barking at car doors and voices outside, and living in a trailer means we hear EVERYTHING. I totally appreciate it cause she alerted me to some Solicitors one day lol, but 2 barks is enough girl! I think animals on TV is her weakness. I just want to watch America's Funniest Home Videos in peace!!!
But yes, the above method is the way to go. I've just been using praise as a reward seeing as I can't find out what my 15 month old did with the treats lol
