half the class the teacher was messing with the GSD in the class *rolls eyes*
she was showing theowner how to give him the command and the damn thing BIT her... and continued after correction,.. so, it took half an hour of messing around, while everyone else just stood there.

but there was a highlight of the class, the last 10 min's she said that we were going to try "stand stay" she showed us how to make our dogs stand. then told us that this was really hard to learn so go very slow.

so everyone took an isle, I stacked bunny and told her to stay, backed up to the end of my lead and waited for the teacher.

the teacher was shocked. then she asked me if I could walk around bunny without her "breaking" the stand.
so i did, and she didnt budge.
then the teacher asked if I could demo what she just seen in front of the whole class... we did and bunny rocked it

I think the pit bull hating teacher is starting to come around. good work bunny....
I also told the teacher that bunny's DA cant be trained out so lets NOT bother, and she said "ok" whew, glad I wont have to hear her stupid suggestions on how to "control" it.. lmao.

lay down, stay... owner goes slightly out of sight.
a could dogs come out of the command and got a little close to bunny. good thing I was paying attention.

weave the boxes, fast pace

"dog" distraction....

the other dogs were "weaving" the others. as they would walk by bunny I would distact her with food, hold her close just in case she blew up.
pretty close huh?

now her badass stand stay...

we have a pet store here called the pet pantry, its not a franchise or anything ... just a very nice older couple own it, and they show shelties or something.

they carry all... the "good stuff" Id like to go in there with a grand or so and stock my supplies lol.

im just taking these lessons here because its seriously all I could find LOL. and I dont think ill be taking these classes again.
we are not learning in the pace I want to and the teacher isnt very apbt savvy. lol.

that's great to hear, when I brought my DA dog to a Petsmart training I always made her wear a basket muzzle, although she was trained within a an inch of her life and I got her to ignore dogs unless they literally stuck there face in hers (at that point she could control herself for only like 20 seconds before it was over) other peoples just seemed to stupid for me to be comfortable not having it on her... guess you could say it was MY security blanket, but hey I never had an accident. Have you checked out the plastic basket muzzles? You can feed them through it they can drink and pant with it. I even was able to have my girl wear her gentle lead head halter with it.

Anyway I absolutely LOVE Bunny she rocks it so hard she is in a competions all to herself!!!

ya I dont want to put a muzzle on her, teacher brought it up but I said "no"

I think people should be in control of there dogs at all time. im always watching

bunny is only 35 in condition so shes real easy to control, if she was any bigger might have had to use a muzzle, anything bigger is just too hard to gain control quick

well good job or bunny I am glad I have trained my zoey enough to keep her under my control for the most part because she is DA now and it just wouldn't go well to bring her in a pet store these days. How long is this particular program?
