So all my other dogs will have no problem with people comming in the house the most loki or luna or pep would ever do is jump on them to lick them and get attention I thought cali would be like this until last weekend.
My boyfriend "CAli 2 BC " Had set up a fishing trip with his friends and left our house about 5 am , I had to get up early as my daughter had a sleepover and her friend had to leave at 7 for soccer practice so after seeing her off I went back to bed but by that time cali had woken up and was whinning at me in her crate so I brought her to bed with me. It was about 8 am and all of a sudden Im woken up by furious barking and growling and If you have ever been in that situation you know there is a different tone to that bark and you know something is verrry wrong. I was almost in panick mode my kids were all asleep in various rooms over the house and the cordless phone wasnt in the bedroom with me but I knew someone was in the house with us cali has never gone off like that. It was about 20 seconds after the rude awakening { seemed like forever} that I heard my mans voice. I hadnt heard the SUV pull up or heard the door shut but I guess cali had, and to make matters worse he was in his full wading pants and rain gear so she didnt recognize him. he was talking to her but it was like she was in full alert and just wasnt hearing him she blocked the hallway to my bedroom and got very aggressive as if she was protecting us, he then got down on his hands and knees and crawled up to her where she then peed on the floor lol .
Not so sure if she would go to the point of biting someone she might just pee on them but for a 5 month old pup she sure looked intimidating lol.
Should note while this was all going on the other 3 where sleeping within 20 feet of all this lol not a peep from them.
