So the breeder I bought Conan from gave
him his first distemper and parvo shot on Nov 10, and he's die for his 12 week shots soon but with my schedule I can't get them until the 15th. Is this going to be a very big risk on my puppy to wait an extra five days? Common logic tells me it shouldn't be as long as I don't wait longer, but I wanted to hear from more experienced people. Thanks!

Just keep it indoors til you get back. Do you have someone you trust enough to take him to the vet appointment for you? If I still lived in that area I'd offer to do it.

the vet i'm going to is about 45 min away so it's not that easy. all the vets here in Jacksonville charge pretty high prices, which is usually the case with all the stores in this military town. the one i'm going to is literally half the rate of all the vets here in town, and highly recommended from one of my partners.

btw, atm my pup only goes outside to potty and not really anything else.

i actually was able to arrange an appointment for this Wednesday morning, so i'll just have to put up with being up almost 24 hours between that and work lol. so the pup will only be 2 days past his 4 weeks for the shot.

Everything in Jville is expensive lol. Hated looking for housing there compared to Newport/Morehead.
