I have 2 APBTs, a male that is 5yrs old and a female who is 1yrs old. My grandfather bred and produced these dogs from his own stock, let me make this clear he is not a back yard breeder. When he breeds it is to ether produce working dogs for the family's farms or for catch dogs or to keep then line going. No puppies are ever sold. They are ether split between the family members or if there are to many puppies to keep they are fixed and found good working or pet homes. Never are any of his dogs sold for profit. OK. Now that iv got that out of the way my grandfather is sick and can no longer run the farm or the dogs so they have been split between the family. My male and female are half brother and sister. Same stud different dams. Up until this point I had no clue that there mothers and father was registered with the ADBA. All parents of my dogs have ADBA registration papers. I have talked to my grandfather about this in regards to why he never registered any of the dogs witch still have numbers as there names due to he never sent them in or never filled out a litter registration form for any of the puppies. All he had to say was that he didn't see the reason, since he never sold any of the puppies and he knows what he has. So, when the Dogs where split up I picked the two dams and the stud of my dogs. My Question is can I single register my male and female thru The ADBAs single registration form or is it a waste of time because they cant be registered now?
