Hi there,

First, let me say that we just adopted two 11-month Pits and we learned a lot from this site before we made our decision -- Thanks for a great resource!

We are having trouble finding the right kind of brush to keep their coats healthy and to remove dead hair. We have already purchased 3 different ones at pet stores and they are not doing anything... What brush would you recommend? Would you be able to attache a picture or provide a link?

any curry brushwould work though, you can get metalones they work great for getting the winter fur out but can be harsh on there skin , I find the rubber ones work great though for all year round.

.... I don't even brush Kane, lol. I give him a bath maybe once a year and often just hose him down during the spring/summer if he gets muddy.

That's what I like about him ... very wash and wear.
