So I figured this would be a cool idea I might try. I have not seen anyone use it. Take a jog or bike ride with the dog but you can add a speed training parachute. It adds about 30 lbs of resistance. When I do it- I will keep you all posted should I try it. Feel free to chime in.

Macho, I can already see the local ASPCA or Ct police questioning the practice... lmao.

But if it works for athletes in every sport, why not give it a go... keep us posted!

Indeed. I think it looks better than having them drag stuff around lol. It seems like alot of fun lol. Hell I might get onefor myself Too.

That's a cool idea man, I picture your dog in some under armour gear with the chute flying behind creating drag having to work to run! lol Post up some pics or a vid if you can that would be awesome to see. I used to have my girl pull me on the skateboard, I found the skateboard to be the safest because if I ever needed to stop of a dime all I had to do was ditch the board. I never had any bad experiences but I learned through my brother's failure that rollerblades are no good, our old boxer drug him about half a block before I got him to stop! lmao

Thanks guys. Jimmy, that should work. I wasnt planning for nothing crazy. I have good control over my boy- i might invest in some rollerblades to avoid a possible bike accident lol.

Hmm don't know about everyone else but I have a picture in my mind of the dog turning and grabbing that chute..lmao I have a few very high prey drive dogs that I could see having a BLAST trying to get the chute instead of running..lmao

Love the idea!! I do a little bike riding with some of my dogs during conditioning and could really see that making a difference!!

Thanks :)

Stacia- both my dogs have a crazy prey drive lol. Only one who is concerned about what's behind him is my GSD. For the most part- once they move forward, they won't look back. Im really pumped. I'm probably going to order this chute over the next week or so.
