Hey guys,

New to the board here but could really use some advice.
I recently picked up an 8 week old pit, noticed she had worms in her stool so I took her for her first deworm.
After the deworm her stool was like a movie scene straight out of Alien, it was like Ridley Scott was directing it.

She's currently 9 weeks old, super playful and no worms and eats well.
She's weighing in at about 9 pounds, Is this below average ? Should I be trying to supplement her a bit more ?

She's currently eating Orijen after I switched her from Earthborn.

Thanks in advance!

She may have a little malnutrition lingering from the worms, but instead of focusing on lbs, just go by her visible body condition. Puppy weights can vary greatly even between litter mates so the actual weight isn't a good indication of health. What does your vet think about how she looks?

The vet made no mention of her weight or visible condition, we're going back this week though.

As for visible condition, she looks healthy to me and is very playful.
