CKC is like DRA they are pre resiquit so to speak.. Registeries like this are how people are pulling stolen or misplaced dog back into registery by building a consistant 4 gen to 6 gen ped and submitting the dog to a judge with pedigree and usually the DNA P to profile the new entry dog whos ped will read Unknown or Unknown but pure.
The dog makes the papers the papers dont make the dog. For the most part I see junk with CKC, once in while like with the DRA I see some game dogs hiding out. Now the ADBA has made certain changes and the DRA may not be acceptable anymore; but the CKC still is or vise verse dont remember that detail. What I do know is that they are underclass registeries made to get the dogs on a certified ped to follow. I put my strain in the DRA to submit to the ped and all to an ADBA judge, it died with Duma. So I only have one APBT, Hoagie who is ADBA registered. I prefer my dogs to be bonafide, usually those registeries come from ADBA stock. So yeah I guess I do snob off CKC dogs, unless the dog just speaks for itself.
