So my almost 2 year pit mix rescue recently started to guard my bed, but only when I leave during the night to go pee and come back. She would growl (warning) when I'm trying to climb back in bed. I would need to turn the lights on, get her off the bed, climb back in. And she's fine afterwards. Any advice on going forward? I believe this will be a problem when I have guests over for a weekend. I just can't pin point what would cause this behavior since she's a total dorky sweetheart overall.

NILIF=Nothing In Life Is Free
Make her sit and wait to get into the bed, or on the couch, or be fed, or go outside. Make her earn the resources you are providing. She is claiming space that does not belong to her. Using NILIF will help her to learn that.
