Hi All,

Sasha is turning 1 year old in about a month. Gosh I love this girl and she has brought so much happiness to my home and has been a great companion to my mother who is alone a lot.

Anyways.....

Should I take her for any check up soon? So far she is up to date on shots, I have her on heart worm prevention, tick prevention, we exercise and play.. granted I wish i could do more exercise with her but she is doing great...

I don't want to waste my money if it isn't necessary.. what do you guys/gals think?

I fully agree with Wheezie .. no need .. unless you are seeing issues dont waste the funds.

I am truly happy she has brought you family enjoyment.

when you get her 1 year boosters and it may be time for rabies too, do not do them all at once. Do one then wait a few weeks and do the rest. Agreed if your pup is healthy and you have no concerns yearly vet visits are not needed till they are older. Also you should not have to vaccinate yearly after one year of age, after she gets her next set of vaccines you could move to every 3 years instead of yearly. I can;t believe she is 1 it seems like yesterday she was just a pup!

loki turned one a few months back and we only had to get his rabies updated just check with your vet if anything is needed to update the shots, no need to go in if there is nothing wrong though.
