I work for a Legal organization based in Brooklyn that caters to low income individuals facing eviction. The organization has been servicing the Bushwick, Brooklyn community for over 30 years. The reason why I am writing is because we have a client who owns a pit bull in a Housing Project. He is facing eviction because he owns a Pit bull. The Housing Project recently passed a policy banning dogs over 25Lb and certain types of Dogs, especially, pit bulls. If he were in a position of moving out in order to avoid giving his dog away, he would but, his apartment is subsided by the government and being of a very modest income he cannot afford to move. We need to find him a home ASAP. We lost the housing case and he is no longer allowed in the apartment. He tried to go to a shelter but he was told the dog would be given 10 days to get adopted otherwise, he wll be put down. for obvious reasons he decided not to leave him there.

Dog's name: Onix
Years: 3 1/2
Great with kids. Was attacked once by another dog, so he is a little scare of other big dogs.
