Hello everyone! My name is Tim and this is my new family member Bugsy. I just adopted him from the County shelter two days ago. He's estimated to be 3 years old, he's 58lbs and was in the shelter about 3 weeks. He's been amazing so far! He doesn't bark or chew and he knows some tricks. He follows us everywhere around the house and is just a big loving goofball. I take him to the empty dog park early every morning then we walk around a small lake. That hour or so of exercise buys me about 5 hours of chill/sleepy dog. Then we walk around the lake again at night. I had a 12 year old Doberman (since he was 6.5 weeks old) who passed away at the end of February so Bugsy is filling that void and I'm very very happy he's a part of our family. Great forum! I've been reading it everyday.

OMG! Bugsy is perfect!! I love that massive noggin! Good choice on a companion.

Start working on those nails and getting him used to being around the dremel and clippers before they get too long.

Thank you! A lot of people are asking if he's a mix because his head is so big and blocky, he has wrinkles on his snout and has the classic light brown eyebrows, face and butt of a Rottweiler.

I will start on those nails this evening. I got behind on my Dobie's nails and it was a huge mistake.
