I got a pit puppy last night, he is 8-9 weeks. He doesn't want to move or interact, eat or anything. All he does is lay in a corner on a blanket as far away from us as possible. Is this depression from being separated from his mom?
Is this normal?

I think it is a feeling of sadness just like humans. You will have to give him proper attention and care. Very soon, he will be familiar with you.

Dogs aren't humans. A puppy should want to interact with you. Take it to a vet.

Parvo is so common with puppies, I would take him to the vet. This could be early signs or something else might be wrong.

Either bring it back to where you got the dog or follow the good advice given above and get it tested right away.
