Wanted to pass this along because if it wasn't for my dad posting it on FB I never would have known about it.
Depending on when/where you served, Ohio has a Veteran Bonus program that pays out up to $1500 (pretty sure that's the max). Seeing if you are eligible is fairly quick. Once I applied and had the required documents, I sent them in and should be receiving a check this week.
So if your an Ohio Vet, take a look at the site below and see if you qualify. You've earned it!!!
Oh and I believe there are other states that offer something similar. So even if you aren't from Ohio, check your state for a program like this.
