Since we couldnt make it to oregon for the ABKC show today we went to the ADBA fun show and had a blast, met some very nice people and got a ton of tips for the ring and weight pulling since this is all new for our dogs. Our harness hasnt arrived for loki yet but someone was kind enough to lend us one so he could enter { it was a bit small lol but loki's kinda a freak when it comes to size so expected that lol} we also put luna in it just for fun and she was a great sport. Loki got a 1st in the weight pulling and a 2nd in conformation , luna took a 1st in conformation and had high complements from teh judge on her movement. very proud of my babys { even if it was just a fun show } here are a few pics from today.

I loved this lil pup she was soooo sweet , 5 months

my fav dog there , she looks bigger in the pics but she was pretty short , loved her color and her eyes and the lil thing was pretty ripped.

won a huge bag of kirklands food, { which we just switched to a couple weeks ago lol} and a ton of treats, collars, other food and bath products.

will deffinatley go back , we are working on loki's adba papers still for weight pulling , but the fun shows are great to get the girls used to the ring before traveling for shows and spending a ton of money .

Hey, I met that lil 5 month old pup and her owner at the Norman show. They had a lot of beautiful dogs. They were from B.C.

ya they were really nice people , alot of dogs there from the same lines I believe out of a dog named ranger , and boy he throws consitent looks lol , most of the dogs there you could tell were related. there were 2 pups there looked just like her and it was the same dad but diff mom they looked like they could have been litter mates lol.

I think they did , everyone was drawn to luna I think she gave kisses to just about everyone there lol, everyone was asking if she was staffy blood or what i explained to so many people what american bullys are thought all of them would have knows but I guess they dont really deal with this breed much { probably thought oh theres one of those sloppy apbt's lol , people up here really dont know about the breed everyone advertises as APBT still} but it was a fun day , loki is actually zonked out for once lol.

yes the goodies were a big score especially the huge bag of food, better score since we switched to that brand recently lol.

Was it Stacy Bushman? I am assuming these dogs are out of Ranger from Beauty and the Beast Kennel, they have some nice dogs.

I didnt catch the name { im horrible with names and met sooo many people yesterday}. Im pretty sure that was the kennel name though , the pup I had my eye on was bought from the breeders it wasnt them who owned her, alothough Like I said there were a ton of dogs there off ranger { all have very similar looks and markings} So she may very well have been there , We didnt see ranger there yesterday But I think last year in one of the summer shows he was there.

Thanks for the comments, she is a lil chunky right now the rain kept us from getting in as much exercise as I would have liked to but hopefully she is better fit for the summer shows, she is over stacked in some pics as well but figured not bad for her 1st time out she was sooo well behaved probably the best behaved there.Was so proud of her

I dont know macho lol , not that much { there wasnt that many dogs it was a fun show} But he did better then luna lol Cali cant wait to get his harness and actually train with him and get him going, loki kept tryna turn around and look at the cart and the bar was riding up his rear was probably uncomfortable lol. I know luna did 200lbs but she faulted out that round lol , loki went like 4 rounds past that.

Yeah thats them,Her,Robert Roblin,Ellen and Cindy are the heads of the APBTABC club up here who hosted the event.They do have some really nice dogs,they had quite a few nice pups shown in the jr. classes too.Everybody there was really cool and was more than willing to share tips ect.I went last year too but based on all the info ive soaked up in the last year (mostly here) I had a much better time,cant wait for loki's harness to show up should be soon,theres a few more events were hopefully making.

It was only his second time even in a harness,He made 4 or 5 rounds before we fouled out,i think around 1000 only,the harness we borrowed was a bit tight and kept rubbing up on his junk making him turn around like WTH? LOL i believe the 3rd round he pulled the cart sideways :rofl:
