Dozen cats die in Berkeley animal shelter fire

Berkeley, CA. Animal shelter burned down last night. cats died and dogs survived, but the apartment upstairs which housed a pitbull brought it to the womans attention and they were saved!!!!

That's so sad. But it's awesome to have any positive pittie stories we can get in the media. And has anyone noticed they are coming more often??
Maybe it'll shed some light on the breed.
