sorry to say they probably wont get any , you are going against a cops word and in most eyes your friend was at fault by not containing her dogs properly. Im sorry it is a sad case but things like this just make our breed look bad when people allow there dogs to roam free and not keep them locked up things happen and usually end up in the media. Most cops will shoot stray dogs especially if they are pitbulls and if he says anything like they were agressive towards him or anyone else who do you think they will believe? Glad this wasnt worse and ended up all over the news causing more responsible owners there rights and freedom with this breed that is already in rocky times in some states and countys. Hope your friends learned a hard sad lesson in all this, sorry for the dogs in this case
