Hello my name is sarah im in a small town in eastern oregon on may 30th 2011 my friends 2 pitbulls and one pit cross puppy were shot by a sheriff. I am trying to help her find groups or help to make a case. This sheriff can not keep his story straight as to why he shot them he used 5 bullets to kill one and 6 to kill the other then he did not even kill them he left them to anguish. The puppy he told witness that he would let the puppy go as soon as the owner arrived then percided to shoot her in the hind leg shattering it right as my friends boyfriend arrived. She was rushed to the vets but did not live her heart gave out from shock. My friend is distraught these were her babies and they were not agressive they just got out of her yard. The sherriff has said that they tried to attack him then changed it to them attacking a women then said he mistaken them for 3 rottwilers who were reported chaseing cattle. How a tan a tan and white and brown and white dog looked like rotties to him we can not understand. But anyways is there any help you guys could offer so we can get bella bear and tyson justice? Thank you for your honest answers the whole town is basically after this sheriff for what he did. My friend blames herself for them getting out they were smart dogs and they figured out how to open the gate latch and took off she didnt realize they were gone tell she saw the gate open. We do have a newspaper intreated in running the storie. So we will see shes also contacted some lawyers. So will see.. What happens

ohh yes there were witnesses to the fact the dogs did not come at him agressively
