So they both needed their rabies booster and registration with the county... I wanted a good check up too so they went in and it was a laugh a minute...

First Sarge doesnt like the stand they are weighed on... hehehe you have to trick him to get him on it... he weighed in at 70.9 lbs and nikita at 50.4 lbs... yeah shes a fat butt and about 10 lbs overweight....

So then we go into the little room where the tech listens to heartrate and checks overall appearance and things... Then the rectal thermometer LOL!!!! They were giving Nikita treats left and right so she was just like go on ahead as many times as you like just keep the treats coming!!!!

Sarge on the other hand was not so happy... He yelped the first try so I assume she hurt him and after it was on... She tried a third time and he snapped at her so I had to muzzle him which he was ticked about... Finally they get his temp since they cant give a rabies vacc without it...

Then the vet comes in and Nikita just stands there and lets him give the vacc... Sarge was not having it after the temp thing... Again I had to muzzle him but not because he snapped again just because I didnt want him to and he was very nervous...

So we came home and he laid on his back with all his paws straight down as if to say "mom how could you let them violate me like that!!"... lol hes been milkin it since then... LOL...

The vet techs were cracking up... After their initial fear of them they loved them and thought they were adorable.... I kept apologizing for him because he never reacts that way not even the last time he had that done.... They were like oh no you are a great owner and they are great dogs we cant blame him.... I was like ok... Then they asked if I was the one that goes into the schools and talks to the kids and of course I am... Its a small town (less than 2000 residents)... They were babying him and everything...

lol ya they all love the themometer, lol expecally my cats you should see the look they give be when i get there temp, like wtf mom did you seriously just do that!?!
