It doesn't swing him around! And why do the actual work of getting some momentum going to do it yourself, when he has a 100lb owner who will do it for him??

In the second swing, he was literally hanging on by a canine which I didn't realize until I started swinging. That's why I cut it a bit short even though I could've gone longer.

I miss my ex if only for the fact that he could swing Kane around for a lot longer, lol.

awwww he looks so ooo happy, and you look like you are having to much fun as well :D
Haha, yeah, we have fun with it! I just wish I could swing him longer. :p

I've been trying to swing ashes but we get to half a swing and she let's go!? :/
Kane used to do the same thing, lol. He used to be bad with tug, too. As soon as I gave it a shake, or sometimes even if I picked it up, he'd let go.

I didn't do anything to change it, just figured I had a crappy pit bull, LOL. @ Kane. But as he's gotten older and more confident he's gone crazy with tug so now he never lets go unless I tell him to drop it and he'd probs be able to swing forever if I had that kind of strength and stamina.

Ok, that video is awesome! lol I like how Kane is holding onto your leg as he's going around haha. I haven't had the chance to swing Whitman around yet, but my old Amstaff/APBT mix would hold on until you got dizzy haha

Nice vid! Mine Wont let go
Thanks! :) I think he might go for the spring pole once his feet start leaving the ground and I can swing him around on it. Once summer hits, he'll be ~1.5 years old, so I'm going to set the spring pole up higher so his toes don't touch the ground and see how it goes. :)

Thanks, lol. Yeah, he always starts out that way until I can get enough momentum up. And that's definitely the way Kane is!! Once you start swinging him around, he won't let go for ANYTHING. When my ex swung Kane around, he always had to stop before Kane did because he got dizzy. I mean, swinging Kane around and around and around. Gosh, I wish I'd had a camera then. :(

I need to get a friend to come over and do that, lol.

Kangol won't either.... I just called it his tree swing because he swung around on it more than anything.

Cute video, Kate! Kane is awesome!
Thanks!!

Like I said above, this summer Kane will be ~1.5 years old, so I'm going to rig the spring pole up so his toes can't touch the ground and see if I can't get his interest up with swinging him around. He really does love the swinging -- he won't let go for ANYTHING once you start swinging. Only thing is that you get dizzy and have to stop and he's looking up at you like, COME ON LONGER FASTER. :p

Just be careful doing that....That is how Honeybunch died. It was too high and her feet couldn't touch the ground. I believe she fell and broke her back. Their feet should always be able to touch the ground.

not the greatest pic. (pic of a pic on my wall)
but this is what you want,...an old garage door spring
and alot of room. this was my first apbt "Louie"
on a side note, the spring will recoil and fly up into the
tree and get hung up...so have a long pole or broken branch
to be able to untangle it and get it back in play.
