so, i've been thinking.. summer is coming up and i wanna make a line in the back of the truck to hook the dogs too.. something to keep them in the back safely, but where they can walk around a little..

isnt there a way to tie them to the center of the bed of the truck kinda like where a 5th wheel would go?

thats what i'm trying to do.. but without sacrificing my whole truck bed..

this is a design i was thinking of, but it'd take my whole truck bed.. they'd be free to walk around, but without getting over the edge of the bed

the 2 lines coming off the middle line would be free to go up and down the line

thats basically the other design i was thinking of.. i'd have actual cable w/ a ring in the middle like so

left side is where the back window is

Its gonna be tough to give them enough slack to walk but also where they cant jump off the sides and hang themselves.

i'm not so much worried about them being able to walk around, but more them trying to jump out if they see a cat or somethin

so the walking around isnt necessary
