I'm just curious anyone that knows the xl bullies or owns them can you tell me what their energy level is are they like regular bullies low energy and laid back but still down to play or do they have the same energy level like a Cane Corso, Presa Canario or Dogo Argentino.

The American Bully was bred for show and family life so a well bred AmBully of any class should be fairly laid back with a little drive. Definitely research the breeder, the pedigree, and the dogs in the pedigree. Big questions to ask, what are they breeding towards, if they say hog hunting, that's not going to be the breeder for you. If they say show, therapy work, weight pull even, you will probably be OK. Hit up some local ABKC shows. Talk to people, meet some dogs. That is one of the best ways to find a breeder and line that works best for you.

In my experience bully's are relaxed but still need good excersize, if my dog isn't walked everyday he gets a bit hyper but they're not like Frenchies where they're hyperactive, 30-60 mins a day is generally enough for them as long as they're not stuck in a kennel for the rest of the day

Hey my name is Kenny I'm new to this group just a question I've been advised by my dog trainer to put my bully xl on a raw diet he's 6 months old weighing in at 26kg but he's not as keen on it as he was his kibble and dog food should I revert back to his kibble and dog food or just try and preserver with the raw food diet thank you very much

Hello Kenny,
Raw is what I would call the BEST diet.
However, there are dogs that won't eat it. I currently have four dogs.
Willow is an extremely picky eater. She won't touch raw with a ten foot pole. She is offered a choice between freeze dried, air dried and premium kibble. She may or may not eat.
Kylee loves raw, as does Pheobe, but we are currently trying Fresh Pet on Pheebs to see if it helps with her acid reflux.
Conner will eat raw, but not the patties or the all fish one.
So, try different proteins (and rotate between at least 4), as well as different brands and form... patties, nuggets, etc.
Don't give up too soon. Took awhile to find out what Conner liked.
If, in the end, he's just not a fan, be sure you're feeding a premium kibble, and again, rotate proteins, even brands. Also, if you go with kibble, be sure to add water or bone broth to be sure they are getting enough liquid.
